Have you discovered The Barn at Roundhurst?

Early in the year, I was treated to a tour of the newly renovated The Barn at Roundhurst just outside Haslemere and I have been meaning to write about it to spread the word ever since…. better late than never!

The owner of Roundhurst Farm, Moya, is the vision behind this very personal project which she has had in her sights ever since she bought the farm several years ago. Moya was very welcoming and I enjoyed hearing how she and her team of skilled builders had worked tirelessly to produce a stunning gem nestled in the heart of the beautiful countryside outside Haslemere, Surrey. The barn has been restored with stunning attention to detail (my favorite bit being the magnificant, modern, sweeping central staircase designed by Moya), and the rooms around the courtyard are individual and luxurious. All this and set within a beautiful and peaceful location that feels like you are miles and miles from anywhere. Perfect!

What they have created in a peaceful oasis of a place, which I hope to soon find a reason to visit as a guest. The Barn at Roundhurst is available for individual B&B guests, for exclusive hire for celebrations or corporate events and activities, which includes the use of the swimming pool and tennis court throughout your stay.

They have wonderful catering options on site, where you can sample local produce, some of which is produced on the farm. What was so refreshing is that Moya is very open to discussing and planning a very bespoke offering at The Barn – there don’t seem to be many rules and so if you are looking to create something unique which has your stamp on it, this is the place. Simply perfect for a private or corporate function – weddings, anniversary celebrations, team away days, training courses etc – it is most definitely on our radar here at Mzuri when the opportunity presents itself and we wish Moya and the team all the success they deserve.
