Good news for Twitter lovers…

Twitter has released a new way to enhance your Twitter profile page with the new header images. Essentially these are like the cover images as on Facebook and Google+, giving you more space to show off products, shout about your services or simply boost your Twitter presence.

The header image can be uploaded on mobile apps such as iPad, iPhone and Android or at twitter.com, and the same image will appear whenever anyone views your profile on the web or on these apps.

This is different to the Twitter background which only features on twitter.com making the header image a great feature for when people are viewing your profile on a device. We are no longer limited to a small profile picture, we’ve now got room to express ourselves instantly across all devices.
