Supporting the launch of Nikki Szabo’s innovative new fabric collection

It’s always such a pleasure to work with businesses right from the word go and see them develop and thrive over time, and Nikki Szabo is no exception. We first met on the first day back after our Christmas break in January 2010, when the brand was just at the “we have a dream” stage. We clicked instantly and have been working with Nikki and Glynis ever since on a whole raft of projects, from the brand and stationery, to website, marketing consultancy, exhibition planning, design, print and everything in between.

Our latest project for them was supporting the launch of their new Paintbox collection, an inspired collection of fabrics which allows customers to tailor the fabric type, fabric design and fabric colour to their exact requirements from a wide range of designs and finishes, and a colour palette of over 400 colours! Our challenge was to communicate the sense of choice, whilst making it clear that the process was simple.

A simple A5 4 page leaflet was the chosen tool, which we planned, wrote, designed and printed. Our job was made that much easier by working with the wonderful pictures taken by Mark Langridge. The collection, and the leaflet, were really well received at the launch at a trade exhibition in Cheltenham and orders have been really encouraging.

We are now working on developing their packaging and point of sale materials, new email footers and a refresh of their website which will be launching soon. Watch this space.
