Lockton UK chooses Pancreatic Cancer Action as Charity of the Year!

We’re very excited for one of our clients, a local and very worthy charity Pancreatic Cancer Action who has been voted by the 750 Associates of Lockton UK to be their Charity of the Year for 2013!

Lockton is the world’s biggest private insurance company founded in Kansas City in 1966 by Jack Lockton, who lost his own battle with pancreatic cancer in 2004, six years after his diagnosis. Rather closer to home, the wife of one of the company’s Executive Directors in the UK, Mr David Way is currently undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer.

With such a healthy success for previous years of fundraising, Lockton UK make an outstanding effort raising over £350,000 since 2009 for four Charity Partners, the funds raised throughout the course of 2013 will be of great use to Pancreatic Cancer Action in growing the charity to fund future projects and to help improve the survival for pancreatic cancer patients.
