Predicted Demographics

Good news for retailers! Since its release, predicted demographics have been available exclusively for MailChimp Pro and now they are making this powerful tool available to online sellers with paid accounts, too. Now, when users connect their store with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce, they’ll have full access to predicted demographics at no extra cost. With this information, e-commerce businesses will be able to quickly identify key audiences and personalise their marketing in exciting new ways, leading to higher customer engagement rates and increased ROI – all sounds good to us!

MailChimp meets Shopify

Another notable update is that MailChimp have partnered with Shopify! Yes, all-important MailChimp data can be accessed through the Shopify control panel. Ultimately, this will allow users to see the effect of email marketing on their online store by monitoring open and click rates, and track the number of orders generated from an email campaign, directly from Shopify reports.  We love this!

Salesforce

Salesforce is a cloud-based application that allows users to manage their sales leads and contacts. Now MailChimp are offering Salesforce integration so that contacts can be imported straight from Salesforce into a MailChimp list – easy! It also works both ways, users can even view their MailChimp campaign activity in Salesforce.

Hootsuite

Hootsuite allows users to set up streams for each of their social platforms, so that they can keep track of the topics that are of most importance, from a company name to the top influencers in their field. This MailChimp integration allows users to import their MailChimp data, so that customers’ activity can be tracked and analysed before interacting with them on social.
