Matthew Nobbs – Fat 2 Fit 2 France

We were delighted recently to be approached by local friend Matthew Nobbs, and to hear all about his exciting and very worthwhile venture… on 31st July Matthew will be cycling almost 300 miles from London to Paris by bicycle in just 4 days, to raise vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Matthew has a very personal connection to Great Ormond Street Hospital, as his son Alexander had heart surgery back in July 2012. Now 2 years old, Alexander has made a full and fantastic recovery.

The experience has spurred Matthew on to lose weight, get fit and now raise money for the renowned children’s hospital. The trip is being entirely funded by Matthew and he is hoping to raise over £5,000 – we are keen to help him on his way.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals with the widest range of dedicated, children’s healthcare specialists under one roof in the UK. The hospital’s pioneering research and treatment gives hope to children who are suffering from the rarest, most complex and often life-threatening conditions, from across the country and abroad.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity needs to raise £50 million a year to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, provide vital up-to-date equipment and fund research into better treatments for the children.

Here at Mzuri we’ve put our heads together and worked some design magic into Matthew’s Fat 2 Fit 2 France press release, making it visually appealing, informative and educational, alongside the creation of a logo identity for the event.

We particularly wanted to make the map information more visually appealing, giving it an infographic twist, making it graphically interesting and informative all at the same time.

The client is delighted with our creation and looks forward to distributing the 4 page leaflet and posters to help raise money for GOSH.
