Snow

As I gaze out the window of my home based makeshift Mzuri Design office I am confronted by a sight not often seen in leafy Surrey; an igloo!

Some inventive children in the park near my house have created an eskimo dwelling in a park full of the most snow I have ever seen since I lived in America as a child. Whilst the view is beautiful, the reality is more challenging. I can’t drive anywhere as my car is currently looking more like a large baked alaska than a useful vehicle, the roads are like an ice rink, the schools are closed and intemittant power cuts prove interesting for accessing my broadband!

But there is something about the UK faced with adversity, we relish the challenge of getting round things.  Today I have seen neighbours who have never spoken to each other digging each others cars out of snow, working together to clear access roads and the community meeting up in the local shops working out where the nearest place would be to top up their electricity card.

At Mzuri, Emma has walked through snow drifts in to the office to reboot the server, following a power cut in Liphook, and the rest of us are all working remotely, with the wonders of technology; the show must go on as they say!  I wonder what the weekend weather will bring us, how about a 30 degree heatwave? Just a suggestion!

Can we help you with a project?
