Streamtime is Dreamtime

So says Anne-Marie, and we quite agree. Think we’ve gone mad? Possibly, but let me explain. We are talking CRM and we are pleased as punch that we have recently invested in Streamtime to help us manage our workload, and lives, more effectively. Here’s the story.

We routinely manage anywhere between 200 – 300 projects at any one time, which obviously takes a bit of organising, and we felt our current CRM system wasn’t quite hitting the mark in terms of giving us really ready, comprehensive and accurate access to all the project information we needed. Everyone recognises that customers and information are the very bedrock of any company, so were keen to continue to evolve and improve the management of that information within our business to better serve our clients (and make our lives less stressful!)

We therefore asked a number of firms to pitch their CRM software to us so we could assess the other options out there. Streamtime are a newer addition to the market than some of the others we considered, so we were keen to see what they brought to the party. The software is great (a hygiene factor of course, it has to be impressive to get through the door!), they have plans for continual investment and change, but it was really the people there that convinced us. They were generous in their time, relaxed about our endless stream of questions and not at all pushy. A sales approach which resonated with our own. So all in all, when pitched against their competitors, they just ticked the most boxes for us.

We took the plunge and had one of those ‘why haven’t we done this before’ moments. We won’t pretend it has been easy to get used to a new system and there is no doubt that it has slowed us down at times over the last few months as we imported our data, refined it, started to learn the software and appreciate its seemingly endless capabilities. But what is it they say, sometimes you need to slow down to speed up. So, here’s to a more efficient, proactive, and organised Mzuri. One of our 10 year objectives very much underway!
