NOVEMBER 19, 2014
Be sure to pop down to Grayswood Village Hall on Saturday 29th November to stock up on gifts, decorations and homewares at the Haslemere Christmas Fair. The event takes place from 10am to 4pm, and is in support of the NSPCC.
Stallholders will be selling artwork, collectable felt animals, bespoke cushions, cashmere and silk clothing, Christmas decorations, furniture, home accessories, antique porcelain and crockery, Christmas bulb arrangements, kitchen tools, makeup, fragrance, skin care, jewellery, boutique wines, Spanish chocolates, French and African baskets, cakes and much more!
As if these offerings wouldn’t be enough to tempt you, there will be a delicious curry lunch provided by Sulu Hardy, offering both a veggie and chicken curry with saffron rice. Sulu will also be serving pav bhajis, which are Indian-style sandwiches served on a roll and topped with onion, coriander and a squeeze of lime. Yum! The lunch is available to eat in or for take-away – something tasty to bring back and eat in front of Strictly! Coffee, tea and delectable cakes and biscuits will also be sold and served.
The fair will also feature a raffle with some fabulous prizes to be won, as well as an onsite charity shop; great for children to buy smaller gifts in addition to the range of specialist stalls.
The NSPCC campaigns to change the law, provides ChildLine and NSPCC helpline services, offers advice for adults, brings ChildLine School Services to children in schools all over the UK, and much more. Every child is worth fighting for, and your support makes it happen, so why not welcome the holiday season, get into the Christmas spirit and support this fantastic cause! Read about the event here.
