Supporting Liphook Food Bank!

There is no doubt that these past 2 years have been difficult, the Covid19 pandemic has brought so much financial hardship to everyone, because of this we feel that it is more important than ever to support our local charities and communities. 

The team at Mzuri are proud to be supporting such a deserving charity – the Liphook Food Bank, a charity that is close to our hearts and directly affects our local community.

The charity provides food for the community to help combat the effects of poverty so that those who are most vulnerable receive help and hope. To aid this charity, the team at Mzuri are donating 25 copies of the ‘Tin Can Cook’ book by Jack Monroe, alongside food and dental supplies. 

Chef, Jack Monroe, focuses on making nutritious meals that are low cost, quick and easy to make, to help those who do not have the time nor money to cook healthy meals. We feel that providing these books as well as food will provide motivation and help to those who are struggling. 

To get involved and help give back to your community, you can donate food and gifts at the Liphook C of E Junior School Between 9:30am and 11:30am on Tuesdays and Fridays, the collection boxes at the Liphook Cooperative and on your exit at the checkouts in Sainsburys.
