We’re sponsoring Grayshott Women’s Cricket teams!

We’re thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring Grayshott Cricket Club’s Women’s Softball Cricket teams for 2023.

As a local business with personal ties to the Women’s teams, we are thrilled to be involved and to support the Club as it continues to grow its Women’s and Girls cricket offering.

Captain and Mzuri Account Manager, Alex

Having discovered cricket through her son’s involvement with All Stars at Grayshott, Alex got involved in the new Women’s softball cricket team being developed by the Club in 2020. What started with half a dozen or so players each week, has grown into a mixed-ability, passionate squad of over 25 players in 2023, who now field two teams in the local I’Anson league. Alex captain’s the women’s team and along with fellow Vice-Chair of the committee, Becca, they are continuing to develop the women’s cricket offering at the Club, to encourage more players to join and share the team’s enthusiasm.

If you’d like to give softball cricket a go, pop down to Grayshott Sportsfield 6.45 – 8pm on Tuesday 25th April, and join a training session. Just bring a water bottle and wear appropriate sports clothing, all other equipment is provided. Softball cricket is a little different to traditional 11-a-side cricket, you can find out more about the game here.
